What Trip Zen is, who it serves, and how to get started.

6 questions

What is Trip Zen?

Trip Zen is a travel technology company. It provides cloud-based booking technology and travel commerce infrastructure to travel businesses through a recurring licensing or subscription model.

Is Trip Zen a travel agency?

No. Trip Zen is a B2B technology provider. Our customers are travel businesses, and travel products are supplied by those businesses and their suppliers.

Who is Trip Zen for?

Travel agencies, tour operators, destination management companies, corporate travel companies, travel startups, travel consultants, and hospitality and tourism businesses. See Solutions.

Can travelers book trips on this website?

No. This website explains Trip Zen’s technology. The operational booking platform is licensed to travel businesses, which use it to serve their own customers.

Why not build our own booking technology?

Building and maintaining booking technology requires development resources, supplier integrations, hosting, security, and ongoing maintenance. Trip Zen provides that infrastructure so you can focus on selling travel.

How do we get started?

Request a demo. Trip Zen will walk you through the platform, understand your requirements, and recommend a licensing package.

Platform

What the cloud platform includes and how it is accessed, branded, and updated.

6 questions

What does the platform include?

Booking management, product management, customer management, supplier connectivity, documentation, reporting, financial management, user management, API infrastructure, white-label capabilities, and cloud infrastructure, depending on your plan. See Platform.

Is the platform already built?

Yes. The core booking platform has already been developed and provides the operational infrastructure for managing products, bookings, customers, suppliers, and travel services.

Do we need to install anything?

No. Trip Zen is cloud-based and accessed remotely, so there is no infrastructure for your business to operate.

Can the platform carry our branding?

White-label capabilities such as logo, colors, domain, email and voucher branding, and customer-facing pages are available depending on your plan. See White-label.

Can we control what each user can do?

Yes. User management includes roles, teams, and role-based, user-level, and organization-level permissions.

How is the platform updated?

Updates are delivered centrally through automated deployment, so improvements reach every customer without local upgrades.

Products & integrations

Supported travel verticals, supplier connectivity, and custom integrations.

6 questions

Which travel products are supported?

Tours, transfers, activities, hotels, eSIMs, and experiences, with additional travel services as the ecosystem expands. See Travel products.

Does Trip Zen supply the travel products?

Trip Zen is the technology and orchestration layer. Products come from your business and from the suppliers you connect, and hotel inventory may be sourced through third-party supplier integrations.

Which suppliers can we connect?

Potential integrations include hotel, tour, activity, transfer, and transportation APIs, eSIM providers, destination services, payment providers, and travel inventory providers. See Integrations.

Why use Trip Zen instead of integrating suppliers directly?

Trip Zen acts as the integration layer, so your team works in one technology environment instead of integrating and operating each supplier separately.

Can Trip Zen build a custom integration for us?

Custom integrations are available with Enterprise agreements and may carry additional setup or recurring costs.

Will more travel verticals be added?

Trip Zen is exploring further verticals such as flights, car rentals, rail, and insurance. These are not commitments. See the Roadmap.

Pricing & licensing

How subscriptions are priced, billed, and licensed.

6 questions

How is Trip Zen priced?

Trip Zen is licensed on a recurring subscription. Starter and Professional are billed monthly after an upfront deposit of three months’ fees; Enterprise is priced under a custom agreement. See Pricing.

What affects the price?

Pricing can vary with the number of users and bookings, enabled products, API access, white-label capabilities, support level, geographic coverage, transaction volume, and enterprise requirements.

Are there fees in addition to the subscription?

Depending on your agreement, transaction fees, custom integration fees, or white-label fees may apply. They are set out in your licensing agreement.

Do we own the software?

No. You receive a license to use the platform. Trip Zen retains ownership of the software, while your business information, content, branding, and customer-owned data remain yours according to your contract.

Is quarterly billing available?

Quarterly plans may be offered. Talk to Sales about the billing structure that suits your business.

Are prices inclusive of taxes?

No. Prices are shown in US dollars (USD) and exclude applicable taxes.
